Ingredients Required:
Wheat flour
|
2 cups
|
Palak Keerai leaves
|
3 cups
|
Green chilli
|
2
|
Ginger
|
1 inch piece
|
Jeera
|
1 tspn
|
Oil
|
1/2 tblspn for kneading;
As required for frying
|
Water
|
2 cups
|
Salt
|

Step by step with pictures:
Ingredients |
Boil 2 cups of water |
Add palak leaves, 1 inch ginger, 2 green chilles |
Boil for 2 to 3 minutes |
Drain the palak leaves mix and keep the drained water for future use. |
Grind the palak leaves along with ginger, chillies and jeera into smooth paste |
Knead the dough with palak puree, oil and salt; Use the drained water for kneading when required. |

Drop them into hot oil |

Steps:
1.
Bring 2 cups of water to boil and then add the palak, green
chilli, ginger.
Allow to boil for 3 minutes and then switch
off the flame.
2. Drain the water into
a bowl so that we can use it if required.
3. Cool the palak
mixture and then grind it into a smooth paste by adding jeera.
4. Knead the wheat
flour by adding the palak paste , salt and oil;
5. You will require
little more water for kneading and for that use the drained water.
6. Now roll into
balls; flatten it and drop into hot oil for tasty pooris.
7.
Serve with potato masala or channa masala.
