Salmon Fish Puttu | Salmon Fish Scramble | Indian Style Salmon Fish recipe


This Salmon Fish Puttu recipe has almost the same taste of Sura Puttu that is made in Tamilnadu.

Ingredients:
  • Boneless Skinless Salmon Fish - 1 lb or 600gm
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves - Few
  • Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
  • Onion - 1 medium
  • Green Chillies - 4 to 5
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Jeera/Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
  • Salt - as needed
Directions:
  1. Steam salmon by adding little salt for 10 to 12 minutes and shred them.
  2. Heat pan, add oil, mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves, crushed garlic and saute them.
  3. Add finely chopped onion and green chilies and saute them until onion becomes transparent.
  4. Add turmeric powder, shredded salmon, cumin powder, salt and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Add grated coconut and mix well.
  6. Salmon Fish puttu is ready.
  7. Serve hot with fish curry or rasam or sambar or dhal !!!!
