Salmon Fish Puttu | Salmon Fish Scramble | Indian Style Salmon Fish recipe
This Salmon Fish Puttu recipe has almost the same taste of Sura Puttu that is made in Tamilnadu.
Ingredients:
- Boneless Skinless Salmon Fish - 1 lb or 600gm
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Jeera - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - Few
- Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
- Onion - 1 medium
- Green Chillies - 4 to 5
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Jeera/Cumin powder - 1/4 tsp
- Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
- Salt - as needed
- Steam salmon by adding little salt for 10 to 12 minutes and shred them.
- Heat pan, add oil, mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves, crushed garlic and saute them.
- Add finely chopped onion and green chilies and saute them until onion becomes transparent.
- Add turmeric powder, shredded salmon, cumin powder, salt and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add grated coconut and mix well.
- Salmon Fish puttu is ready.
- Serve hot with fish curry or rasam or sambar or dhal !!!!
