Try making this Aval/Poha mixture as a quick and healthy snack.
Ingredients:
- Oil - As needed for frying
- Aval/Poha - 2 cups
- Roasted Gram dhal - 1/2 cup
- Peanuts - 1/2 cup
- Cashews - 3 tbsp
- Raisins - 2 tbsp
- Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - As needed
Directions:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Place a stainless steel filter inside the oil.(Using stainless steel filter makes frying easy)
- Fry aval or poha, roasted gram dhal, peanuts, cashews, raisins, sesame seeds one by one by placing them inside the stainless steel filter and tansferring them to a paper towel once fried.
- Add Chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt to the fried mix and toss well.
- Quick, tasty & healthy aval/poha mixture ready.
- Aval/poha mixture can be served immediately or store in an air tight container.
