Aval Mixture | Poha mixture | Easy 5 minute snack recipe | Poha chivda | அவல் மிக்சர்


Try making this Aval/Poha mixture as a quick and healthy snack.

Ingredients:

  • Oil - As needed for frying
  • Aval/Poha - 2 cups
  • Roasted Gram dhal - 1/2 cup
  • Peanuts - 1/2 cup
  • Cashews - 3 tbsp
  • Raisins - 2 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - As needed
Directions:
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Place a stainless steel filter inside the oil.(Using stainless steel filter makes frying easy)
  • Fry aval or poha, roasted gram dhal, peanuts, cashews, raisins, sesame seeds one by one by placing them inside the stainless steel filter and tansferring them to a paper towel once fried.
  • Add Chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt to the fried mix and toss well.
  • Quick, tasty & healthy aval/poha mixture ready.
  • Aval/poha mixture can be served immediately or store in an air tight container.
