Egg Puffs is a very easy recipe that can be made at home.
Ingredients:
Eggs - 5

Puff Pastry Sheets - 1
For masala:
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Onion - 2 cups(3 medium)
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
- Fennel Seed powder - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander leaves - handful
- Salt - As needed
For brushing/coating puff:
- Egg - 1 beaten
- Sesame seeds - 1 tsp
Directions:
- Take the puff pastry sheets out of the refrigerator and let it sit outside for 1 hour to become thawed.
- Boil 5 eggs, remove the shells, cut & split it into half and keep it ready.
- Thinly slice the onions.
- Heat pan, add 2 tbsp oil and add the thinly sliced onions.
- Add salt and saute until onion becomes transparent.
- Add 1 tsp ginger garlic and saute for a minute.
- Add the spice powders (turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp, chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp, coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp, garam masala - 1/4 tsp, fennel Seed powder - 1/4 tsp) and saute for a minute.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Masala mix ready.
- Cool down the masala mix.
- Split the masala mix into 10 since we are making 10 puffs.
- Cut the puff pastry into 10.
- In the puff pastry, first place 1 tbsp masala, then half of boiled egg and gently cover it. Seal the ends using fork.
- Beat 1 egg in a bowl and keep it ready.
- Brush the puff with the beaten egg and then sprinkle some sesame seeds on the top of it.
- Similarly make all the egg puffs ready.
- Arrange the puffs in a baking tray.
- Bake at 400°F or 200°C for 17 to 20 minutes. Until the egg puffs become beautifully golden brown.
- Tasty egg puffs ready to be served with tea.
