Usually rice is added to this recipe to make it crispy. Instead of rice I have added millet to make the dosa more healthy and at the same time crispy!!!

This dosa can be made instantly without fermentation or it can be fermented. Both ways yield tasty dosas.

Ingredients:(Serves 5)
To Soak:
- Green Gram - 1 cup
- Millet - 3/4 cup (barnyard or kodo millet)
- Urad Dhal - 1/4 cup
Others:
- Green chillies - 3
- Ginger- 1 inch
- Cumin/ jeera - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - As needed
Directions:
- Wash & soak the green gram, millet, urad dhal for 8 hours.
- After 8 hours, grind it smoothly adding green chillies, ginger, cumin, salt and water.
- Adjust the consistency of batter by adding water and make sure batter is of correct consistency as shown in video.
- Make crispy dosas instantly without fermentation.
- Or ferment the batter for 8 hours and make crispy dosas.
- Serve healthy crispy green gram millet dosa with chutney!!!
