Muuton Chops | Lamb Chops | Roasted Mutton Chops | Mutton fry | Mutton Lamb Chops
Try making this delicious mutton chops!!!!
Ingredients:(serves 4)
- Mutton chops - 650gm
For the masala paste:
- Coconut - 3 tbsp
- Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- Cloves - 2
- Cinnamon - 1 inch
- Whole pepper - 2 tbsp
- Dry red chilli - 2
- Garlic cloves - 5
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Small Onion -5
- Tomato - 1 small
For pressure cooking:
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mutton chops - 650gm
- Masala paste
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - As needed
- Water - 1 cup
For making mutton chops roast:
- Oil - 2 tsp
- Whole pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Pressure cooked mutton chops
Directions:
- Grind the ingredients given under masala paste smoothly and make masala paste ready.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker or instant pot and add the mutton chops.
- Sauté until mutton chops changes its colour.
- Add the grinded masala paste and sauté it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, salt , water and pressure cook for 6 whistles or if using instant pot 30 minutes high pressure.
- Once mutton chops gets pressure cooked, allow the cooker or instant pot to release pressure naturally and keep it aside.
- Now for making mutton chops roast, heat a wide pan, add 2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp whole pepper, 1/2 tsp fennel seeds, curry leaves and pressure cooked mutton chops.
- Keep the pan open and flame in medium and cook until the water is absorbed and flip when needed.
- Once the mutton chops are roasted, it’s ready to serve !!!!
